Once you have completed an ePortfolio presentation, you can export it to your personal device for future use. You can export the presentation as an HTML document, and you can also export it into a zip file. The zip file is the best option for collecting all artifacts included in your presentation, but it will not allow you to view your presentation outside of the Brightspace ePortfolio or systems that support the Brightspace ePortfolio XML format.
Exporting your presentation to HTML format enables you to keep a copy of your presentation in a viewable format external to the system. This is useful if you change institutions and you don’t want to lose your work. Once you export your presentation to HTML, you can host it externally on your own website or save it on your computer to view offline.
It is recommended that you export in both formats.
To export your presentation from the My Items page, click the arrow next to the title of the presentation to expand the menu. Click Export in the menu.
To export a zip file of your presentation and artifacts, select the Export presentation to an ePortfolio package radio button and select the Automatically include associated items checkbox. Then click Next.
Click on the zip file. You will be prompted to open, save, or cancel. Click the arrow next to Save to
expand the menu. Click Save As in the menu. Name the file and save it to your device.
To save your presentation as an HTML file, select the Export HTML version of presentation radio button
and select the All system links checkbox. Then click Next. Follow the same steps above to name the file
and save it to your device.
