What is a Workshop?

Updated on

Workshops are pre-scheduled group events hosted by experienced Academic Support staff members. In workshops, students join their peers for interactive, skill-specific 45-minute lessons on specific skill sets. At Academic Support, we believe learning is social, so we offer these groups' events to allow students to interact with peers in a low-stakes environment. You will have the opportunity to ask questions during or after the presentation of the content.

You can search by keyword for available workshops and sign up for them in advance. As pictured below, you must click a tag generated from your typed keyword for the search to function correctly.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you cannot attend the session at the scheduled day and time, register anyway. When the recording is available, you will be able to view the session under "My Account" and "Previous Sessions" (also pictured below).
