You are required to follow APA formatting, including a cover page, double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. The headings are referred to in APA style, a referenced in APA Headings and Seriation.

First, include a cover page.

1. Introduction (Level 1 Heading)
   1. a. Your introduction includes your topic for investigation, problem, and purpose. When you discuss your topic for investigation, be sure to include your research question.
2. Topic for Investigation (Level 2 Heading)
   1. a. State your topic for investigation, including your research question, that address the population and intervention to be examined in your annotated bibliography.
3. Problem (Level 2 Heading)
   1. a. In the problem section, you will describe in detail the need for empirical evidence to support clinical work related to working with this population and this mental health issue. When you are determining why the issue needs to be investigated, include information about the occurrence of the mental health issue such as the frequency of the issue presenting in clinical practice, the prevalence of the disorder in the US, and/or the difficulty of treatment. Also give some information on the intervention you have chosen, such as, a basic overview or description of the intervention. This section should be supported with scholarly sources such as articles or texts (these should be different from the ones you are reviewing for your bibliography).
4. Purpose (Level 2 Heading)
   1. a. Develop a purpose statement that captures what you hope to accomplish in your research. For example, “The purpose of this review of professional counseling literature is…….”
5. Summary of Each Study (Level 1 Heading)
   1. a. For your Week Five Assignment Draft, you need to identify you final three choices of articles and begin to complete the summary of each study.
   2. i. For each resource, include the citation of the article first. Example Citation:Smith, J. (2017). Interesting research article on the use of an intervention for a mental health issue in a chosen population. Journal of Interesting Counseling Research, 7(21), 123-145, doi 10/12345/sdlk5869
   3. b. The next thing to include in your summary for each resource for your Week Five Assignment Draft is the research methodology that is being used (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed method). Below are requirements that you will need to add for your final submission in Week Eight.
   4. c. For your Week 8 Final Submission, be sure to revise the information you have already provided in your Week 5 ASsignment Draft based on instructor feedback. You will need to restructure your Summary of Each Study section for the final submission following the guidelines in the Final Project I Guidelines and Rubric document as well as described in this box.
   5. i. The Summary of Each Study section for your final submission in Week 8 needs to include the following
      1. Each of your three summaries should begin with a citation of the article.
      2. Provide a summary of the scholarly article related to your topic for investigation. You should describe all of the critical elements in the Final Project I Guidelines and Rubric document. You need to describe your whether or not the article supports your approach with the client, what method (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed method) is being used for the research article, summarize the participants in the article (population [number of participants)], ethical and cultural implications, data that was collected from participants, and the outcomes of study and how they support your approach with your client.
   6. Implications for Practice (Level 1 Heading)
      1. a. In this section, you will determine how the outcome of your research should be applied to working with a client. Part of your determination should include describing the general outcomes of what the individual studies reported in terms of how well the intervention works with the issue and population you were exploring. If the topics in your articles were related to your intervention/population/mental health issue but do not match your topic for investigation or research question (like used with a different population), explain how you drew your conclusions to answer your specific topic for investigation or research question and how it is applicable for working with a client.
      2. b. Finally, conclude your project by explaining how the studies you researched advanced the counseling profession.
   7. 7. References (Level 1 Heading)
      1. a. You need an APA formatted reference page that includes all sources.
