Before you Submit your Assignment Checklist

Before you begin...

I re-read the instructions slowly, preferably out loud

I highlighted or underlined action words like explain, analyze, compare, describe, and evaluate

I have answered all the questions/section in my assignment prompt and rubric

Using the "What to Submit" area in my rubric, I have met the word/ page count requirements

I have used the correct format (font, spacing, margins, headings)

I have used the correct file type (PDF, Word .doc, etc).

I can see where my assignment clearly answers each requirement, especially those worth the most points

I have cited my sources in the correct style (APA, MLA, Chicago)

I have cited work from other authors both in-text and in a Works Cited or References page at the end

I have used the required number of outside sources

My assignment has an introduction (and preferably a thesis) for context

My assignment has a conclusion, which wraps up what I have stated throughout the assignment

My assignment's file has a clear name (i.e. ENG-190Module1AssignmentMyName)

I have uploaded it to the right place

I have submitted it before the deadline (usually Sundays at SNHU)
