Before your classes begin:

1. Read any announcements: make note of your instructor's contact information and any special instructions.

2. Find the syllabus in your "Getting Started" Module, and review: outcomes, texts, grade distribution, and weekly schedule. Be sure to look for large projects, milestones, and their due dates. Consider planning your school time on a calendar.

3. Go to the Shapiro Library: Look under Research Guides for your class. Bookmark for future use.
